Do not tarry

Our Lord, have mercy, please do not tarry!
We ask You in godly fear!
Persecutors are now chasing us to destroy, help us to parry,
Break all their bows and every spear…

For Thou Art our only Hope,
To live abundantly, when we no longer are on this cursed earth,
in mansions, prepared by Jesus for us in love!
Who was there for his followers since our birth!
