Poem of a Psalm 10
Lawlessness abides today,
in many men with evil hearts,
they deem themselves invincible,
and do not regard You, oh Lord,
when they fire their godless words, like poisoned darts...
Arise oh Lord, let the humble be glad,
in every moment support them fully,
and cast away in chains, the enemy, the mad,
for when your saints are persecuted,
we live only to give You praises, truly...
I have seen the evil-doer fall,
into the pit of his own lies,
he dug it up so deep, but You prevailed,
you Lord have served Your Holy justice,
while the enemy perishes and all he does, it dies...
