Poem of a Psalm 20

Our Father in Heaven,
Blessed be Thy name!
Take us, all who are godly, before Daniel's seven,
take Thy church before tribulation and save!

There is no other,
None like Jesus, our Shepherd our King,
Far more than a friend, more than a brother,
I pray Thy will be done, no matter if in autumn or spring,

As You are our warmth in the winter,
Our Living water in the summer heat,
The sun in the morning,
The safest shelter when we lay down to sleep.

Hear my call,
Bless me to protect the meek,
I gave You my soul,
As you died first for the jew to the gentile and greek.

Save, Lord!
May the King answer us when we call.
